Embark ms Volendam Vancouver Cruise Terminal PM (Ship sails 5pm)
5.45pm Dinner in Main Dining Room

Thursday 16th May:
Cruise the fabled Inside Passage of Alaska where large vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. The scenery is amazing.
4.30pm MFA Cocktails/Welcome in the Crows Nest on the Sports Deck (Deck 9)
5.45pm Dinner in Main Dining Room

Friday 17th May:
AM Scenic Cruising Tracy Arm another of Alaska's most dramatic glacier settings, with icebergs in all sorts of wondrous shapes.
11am MFA Get-together in the Hudson Room, Upper Promenade Deck 5.
2.30pm Ship arrives in Juneau, capital of Alaska. Hop on a dog sled and speed across a massive icefield.
10.30pm Ship departs

Saturday 18th May:
7am Ship arrives in Skagway where gold prospectors passed through to the Yukon. Ride
the antique White Pass narrow-guage railway and visit the Trail of '98 Museum.
9pm Ship Departs

Sunday 19th May:
Cruising Glacier Bay, Alaska which has more actively calving glaciers than anywhere in
the world. When a monumental chunk of ice splits off it sounds like thunder!
11am MFA Catch-up in the Hudson Room, Upper Promenade Deck 5.

Monday 20th May:
10am Ship arrives Ketchikan in the heart of the Tongass National Forest. View the world's largest collection of totem poles and immerse yourself in Tlingit Indian culture.
Full day of sightseeing
6pm Ship Departs
7.45pm MFA Celidgh to welcome our new Clan Chief (location to be decided).
Could be re-scheduled for the next evening (our last night on the ship).

Tuesday 21st May:
Cruising the Inside Passage again with forests in a hundred shades of green and tumbling turquoise glaciers. Enjoy your last night aboard ms Volendam.

Wednesday 22nd May:
7am Ship arrives back in Vancouver. Disembark after breakfast.
(NB: Plan your departure from Vancouver no earlier than 1pm to allow for customs processing at the wharf and airport transfers etc)
